Time to Fish

Time to Fish

  • On May 20, 2021

It’s time to fish, the lakes are at full pool and fish are biting. We are now past the crazy Spring weather, where the lakes were coming up and down from all the rain and we were having warm days and cold nights that kept messing with the water temps. We are now at the end of the post spawn, when the fish are starting back to feeding and moving to their summer patterns. On Lake Chickamauga, the Largemouth bass are moving out to the main lake ledeges and points, where they will feed all summer, before moving back in to the grass this fall. You never know on Chickamauga, when the next bite may be your personal, best bass you ever caught. On our mountain lakes, Lake Chatuge, Lake Burton, Lake Nottely, and Lake Blue Ridge, the Spotted bass are starting to chase bait first thing in the mornings. Once the sun gets up, you can start catching them around deep docks, points, lay downs and deep brush. We are catching bass on all kinds of techniques and on multiple baits. We only have a couple days left open in May, and June and July calendar is filling up fast! So give us a call now to book your trip. Check out photos from the past couple months.
