North Georgia Mountain Lakes

The North Georgia Mountains lakes are starting to get hot, The largemouth bass and Spotted bass are done spawning. On Lake Blue ridge and Lake Chatuge we are starting to a little top water action starting in the mornings and late in the afternoons.  The fish is moving out getting ready to start their summer patterns. We’ve been catching fish on shaky heads, Z-Man TRD ned rig and dropsotting a 4.5″ worm. The top water baits I’ve been  using is a Strike King sexy dawg jr and a whopper plooper. I even had some clients out on both lake that throwed fly rods all day and caught some nice fish. If you’re looking for a guided bass trip give us a call.
