It’s that time of year on Lake Chatuge, when you can get out on cool fall morning and catch some top water fish and then watch the sun break through on the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. October is prime time of year in the North Georgia Mountains to see the leaves changing there beautiful fall colors. The lake temps have been drooping and the bait fish have been schooling. We’ve been catching a mixture of fish out on trips, Largemouth and Spotted bass have been mixed in and schooling with the Hybrids and Striper, making for a fun top water bite.
