Spring is in the air and fishing is getting hot, the Spotted bass and Largemouth bass are starting to move up near the spawning areas. We’re starting to catch them near flats, pockets, and the mouth of creeks. This is the time of year we start catching them on swimbaits, wacky worms, and square bill crankbaits. We’ve been seeing water temps starting out in the mornings around 53 degrees and warming up in the pockets to 56 degrees.
