Chickamauga lake is fishing great for numbers, The fish are out on the ledges and feeding. We’ve been catching a lot of Largemouth bass in the 2.5lb to 3.5lb range with occasional 5lber. They have been hammering a dropshot rig with a 6″ RoboWorm, shaky head with a Strike King 6.5″ finesse worm in green pumpkin, 3/8 oz jig in green pumpkin and pb/j, also a 3.5″ smoke tube. You don’t have to do much running around once you find them you just have to get them to bite. Were running mostly 6hr trips starting at 6:30am and off the lake by 12:30pm before it gets to hot.
