It’s that time of year when the Spotted Bass and the Largemouth bass are coming off bed and starting to move out to their summer time staging areas.  On Lake Burton one of the best techniques to use this time of year is the shaky head or what some people call the Jig Head worm. Strike king has been a Sponsor of mine for many years and is a great company to work with. A couple of years ago I had the honor of co-hosting an episode of Strike Kings Hook n Look with Kim Stricker on Lake Burton for Spotted Bass that aired on the Outdoor Channel. We was using the Strike King Fat Baby finesse worm in Green pumpkin, I did slip in the 6.5″ finesse worm during the show just to give a little more action. We had a blast catching those mountain Spotted bass. If you’ve never watched Hook n Look on the Outdoor Channel, your missing everything below the water. Kim and Danny Stricker go above and beyond to bring you one of the best educational fishing shows on TV, I looking forward to our next outing.  Also congratulations to Danny and Kate on there newly born daughter Brooke.  You can also check the promo of the show on You Tube.
