Lake Burton Fishing

Lake Burton Fishing

  • On September 10, 2020

Lake Burton has been fishing good the past month. Now that we’re past Labor day the boat traffic should start slowing down and the fishing will get even better. Late September and October is great time to catch some big Spotted bass and Largemouth bass, not to mention when the leaves start changing colors it looks like a picture or a painting in a magazine. We’ve been catching fish on dropshot and texas rig worms, but now that we’ve been having cooler nights the water temps have been dropping, we should start seeing more breaking fish. Normally our Fall fishing starts out with throwing top water lures in the morning and then following it up with swimbaits then going back to the dropshot, shaky head and texas rig around points, docks, and laydowns. If you like to pitch docks or skip jigs this lake is the one for you, It would take you a week to fish all these docks. Give us a call and book you trip today.
