Carters lake is the deepest of the Georgia reservoir lakes, This unusually deep clear lake, reaches depths of 450 feet. It is 3,200 acres and has 62 miles of shoreline, the unique thing about Carters Lake is there’s no boat docks or residential houses. This lake is located outside of Ellijay, GA. Although Carters lake has Largemouth bass, Striped bass and Hybrid bass, it is noted for its year around big Spotted Bass fishery.
