Chickamauga has been ranked 5th in the Nation for best bass fishery, and it holds the BFL one day catch record of 5 bass over 40 pounds . This is a river channel lake, so you’re always looking for current to be flowing. When the current is flowing the fish are feeding. There are so many different ways to catch fish on this lake. One might flip jigs around docks or go in the back of creeks or pockets and throw swimbaits. You can fish the river ledges and humps, with carolina rigs, big monster worms, monster spoons, 3/4oz jigs, shaky head, dropshot, spinner baits.
