Lake Blue Ridge fall fishing

Lake Blue Ridge fall fishing

Lake Blue Ridge Fall fishing is just around the corner, we’re starting to have cool mornings which helps drop the water temps. Also TVA has already started dropping the lake for the winter, The lake is down around 9 feet as we speak. But that’s what make for good Fall and winter fishing, when the waters down you get to see rock piles and breaks in the bank and points that you don’t see if your just a Spring and Summer fisherman. The Spotted bass and a few Smallmouth bass are starting to break some first thing in the morning on the main body and the flats. I’ve been throwing a 90 series Whopper Plopper and a Strike King KVD Splash. After the sun gets up I go to fishing a drop shot and shaky head back in the pockets and the deep banks up the river. October is a magical month for fishing, give us a call and book you Fall bass trip.
